FALL IS THE PERFECT SEASON FOR PLANTING PALM TREES!

The Bismarck Palm is one of the most beautiful and desired fan palms for subtropical landscapes. With its beautiful silver leaves  it has become very popular in ornamental plantings throughout the tropics and warm subtropics.  Bismarck Palms  grow slowly and can become up to 40 to 60 feet tall with a 10 to 15 foot spread..  Growth rate in 5 years, from 3 feet planted, is about 15 - 18 feet high by 10 - 12 feet wide.  Regular watering and feeding are recommended for optimum growth.  They are fairly cold hardy to the lower 20’s once established.
