The Washington Fan Palm is also known as the Mexican Fan Palm.  Washingtonia Fan Palms are fast growing palm trees. These palms can grow to a height of 60-100 feet. The leaves of the Washingtonia Fan Palm are some of the largest leaves of any palm species. The normal spread of the leaves and gold toothed stems can extend from 10 to 15 feet.  Washingtonia Fan Palms are also very drought and salt tolerant. The Washingtonia Fan Palm is a nice choice to add beauty to any landscape project. These palm trees are also easily grown in containers for people in northern climates.  The Washingtonia Fan Palm can live from 80-250 years.
