About the Valencia Orange Tree ...
The Valencia orange is the most widely planted orange variety in the world. The Valencia orange has a thin, deep golden skin that's difficult to peel. Its flesh is sweet, juicy and contains few seeds. The Valencia Oranges excellent taste and internal color make it most desirable. The fruit has an average diameter of 2.7 to 3 inches. It's in season from January to November. The Valencia Oranges have a wide range of climatic adaptability. It is usually slightly oblong in shape. It matures in early February and holds well on-tree into the summer. Fruit will regreen at the time of the spring growth flush.
